Don't Have Time To Hit The Gym?

Ever since summer 2012, I have been doing workouts online. With my busy schedule, I am unable to make it to the gym. I feel like working out at home is a better option for me because whenever I have free time, I can just do them from my laptop. I really love doing Tiffany Rothe's workouts on YouTube - She has a variety of workouts to choose from & honestly, they are amazing! Last summer, I dropped 10 pounds in a month by doing a few of her workouts 4-5 times a week. A few days ago, I started doing her workouts again. She's such an inspiration. I recommend her workout routines if you want to live a healthier lifestyle. Plus, they are fun!

My First Blog Post

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! This is my very first blog post. I am new to Blogger and blogging in general, so bear with me..

Anyways, to tell you all a little bit about myself - My name is Jessica Vigland and I am 21 years old. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm a full-time college student at Penn State Greater Allegheny. Currently, I am studying Corporate Communications and I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2014. After I graduate, I'm not sure exactly what I want to do yet, but I am very interested in Public Relations. In my free time, I work at Giant Eagle part-time. I have been working there since April 2008. I am a Self-Checkout Cashier there.

I made a blog on Blogger because I am taking a class at Penn State called English 420: Writing For The Web. I am so excited! For the past few days, I've been thinking about an interesting blog topic I can write about all semester. It has to be one that I'm interested in. I want to enjoy blogging!

I just thought of a great idea! 2013 just started and a majority of people have the same New Year's resolution: to eat healthier and lose weight! That is my New Year's resolution; and to be honest, it's been mine for the past 3 years or so. I've never stuck to this New Year's resolution. I always used to say, "I'll start tomorrow." And guess what? I never did. But this year is different because I want to! Starting tomorrow, I am going to start living a more healthier lifestyle. By the end of the semester, I would love to drop around 15 to 20 pounds. I am going to do this the right way. I hope I can motivate others to do it, too. It is possible. I've done it before.

All semester, I will be posting health tips, exercise routines, healthy recipes, etc. I am extremely addicted to Pinterest, so expect to see a lot of things from there on my blog. There are tons of health & exercise pins on there, so hopefully I can share some good ones with you!
